Taguspark will present the first exhibition of the artistic group À Linha - “Paisagens do Agora”. Formed by 16 artists, who express themselves using different languages and techniques, but who share their passion for the sun, the sea and the experience of a geographic line that extends from Oeiras to Cascais.
Promoted by Taguspark, curated by Elisa Ochoa, this initiative is part of the cultural program defined for 2020 and translates “the investment that is being made in promoting quality of life and the experience of what is the largest city of science and technology in Portugal ”, says Eduardo Baptista Correia, executive president of Taguspark.
The exhibition “Paisagem do Agora” starts on January 30th, at 7 pm, in the Atrium of the Núcleo Central of Taguspark and results from a challenge launched to the members of À Linha to “address, showing contemporary processes, a theme that is so close to the art’s history, but allowing each artist to find in their aesthetic geography, the creative power in the construction of their work ”, says Elisa Ochoa.
At the opening there will be Dave Oak, the most requested DJ in Lisbon, who will present a session of songs and remixes appropriated to the theme of the landscape, the artist Regina Frank, who will present a performance of her best-known work, ILand, and a digital projection by the audiovisual artist Pedro Soares Filipe.
Alongside the exhibition, there will be illustration, painting and installation workshops conducted by artists of the group À Linha: Graça Romano, João Catarino, Tim Madeira and Ricardo Tadeu. These are open to the public - young people and adults - and will take place in the library of the Núcleo Central of Taguspark, in February and March, starting the registration on the opening day of the exhibition "Paisagens do Agora".
