Atrium of the Núcleo Central of Taguspark will host the exhibition “Mental Dialogue”, from May 25, by Iranian photographer and filmmaker Rahman Haghighi.
The initiative is part of the cultural program defined by Taguspark for 2020 and translates “the investment that is being made in the promotion of culture in what is the largest city of science and technology in Portugal, even in troubled times like the ones we live now”, says Eduardo Baptista Correia, Executive President of Taguspark.
Rahman Haghighi is an actor, director, photographer and musician, and has lived in Portugal since 2017. His work presents us with a contemporary look at traditional Iranian elements, taking the pulse of the evolution of an ancient culture.
Born in Shiraz, Iran, in 1970, Rahman Haghighi started his career as an actor, but quickly moved to the other side of the camera. Over the past two decades, he has produced and directed over 30 documentaries, series and films for various television channels in Iran, the United Kingdom and the United States. He is currently making a documentary and photographic project about the history of Iranian emigrants in Portugal.
The exhibition “Diálogo Mental” will be on display in the Atrium of the Núcleo Central of Taguspark and can be visited from Monday to Saturday, between 10 am and 7 pm.
